JACKPOT!!!!!!!

Today started out rough because I sold my kids crib and high chair at a yard sale....making it all so true that I am done with having babies. I was so sad, but felt better knowing it was going to a mother expecting twin boys...while having a 9 month old little girl at home! yikes!

To celebrate our great sale, I went on a date with my mom to downtown Dade City for lunch and some antique shopping. I have never had much luck at those stores because it is all WAY over priced and not really my style. EXCEPT FOR TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I purchased the BEST chair EVER. A chair that I had literally cut out an EXACT picture of almost 2 years ago!!!!! It was originally $200, and marked down and down. They were now asking $75 and after a full day of people trying to lower my prices at my yard sale....I decided to ask for a deal at $50. (this took some serious coaching from my mom) I GOT THE CHAIR FOR $60 AND I HAVE BEEN SMILING ALLLLLLL DAY LONG!!!!!

I feel better about selling my crib and saying bye to my last big baby item because I have just upgraded to the best chair in my house!!!!!!!

I also found pillows that I HAD to have the other day, but was NOT GOING TO PAY $50 a pillow.... so I created my own. Check them out at www.saseaboutique.etsy.com

A Great Cause.....Cora Paige

Reading about Cora Paige truly touched my heart! I never knew Cora but I followed her mom's blog during her sickness, and I deeply felt for her family and continue to do so. Though Cora's life was cut short, I am trying to help to keep her memory alive.

I have listed a few items for sale at www.saseaboutique.etsy.com with the proceeds going to help build a playground in Cora's name, along with NUMEROUS other great and loving Etsy crafters.

To read more of her story visit: http://themcclenahans.blogspot.com/

To learn more about Cora's Playground visit: http://corapaige.blogspot.com/

It is unimaginable what her family and friends are going through at this time, but with our help and support we will be able to help build an amazing legacy for Cora Paige.

Dreaming.....

So I am feeling COMPLETELY unmotivated to do anything today.... so I have been dreaming of things I would buy if I hit the lotto or just felt like spoiling myself. After looking at totally overpriced items for my house, I decided to check out www.target.com and came across the cutest chair for $169 and 15% off of that! I am LOVING IT!!! I am also going to go out and pick up a lotto ticket today so that I can buy one without having to explain myself to my husband. :)

yeah for naps!!!!

Collin took a great nap today, and I was able to enjoy some much needed craft time! Kacey nicely glittered every paper she could get her hands on, while I sewed my little heart out making as many dish towels as I could possibly make before I heard, "mom, I am up" coming from Collin's room.
I managed to get all of it done, and listed on www.saseaboutique.etsy.com before he got up!!! love that little guy!!!!

Check out the grouping of frames and blocks that I made and distressed! I can't wait to hang these up and enjoy them!!!

This one was a special order from a wonderful etsy customer, and I think I just might make one for myself too. (or keep this one, and make another to mail out. :)

I got an order yesterday for this soft little blanket for a new baby boy in California! I miss having babies around the house. (not enough to go for baby number three!! :)
Hope you all had a nice productive day! Hopefully I will be able to get some pillows up tomorrow or tonight! ENJOY!!!!

xoxo

I will admit it... I am a craft pusher. :) My kids LOVE making things (kacey more so than Collin) and ESPECIALLY love it when they can eat what they make (Collin more so than Kacey). Which is why I jumped for joy when I saw a kit for making Candy Necklaces at Michaels the other day!!!! THE PERFECT KID CRAFT! I bought enough to pass out to Kacey's class, and to keep in my "secret stash" in case I need to keep the kids quiet and busy for a bit while I complete a craft or two myself.

Kacey carefully put together a pattern on her necklace and strung each one piece by piece....while Collin just ate each piece directly out of the bag. Either way, they both LOVED it and I was able to make a few orders to mail out. That is my definition of a successful day!!!!!

Tomorrow I will be posting pictures of some new items that I have been working on!!!! Also, check out http://www.stampincafe.blogspot.com/ and see the SUPER CUTE Valentines Day gift idea that my sister made for all of my niece's teachers!!! LOVE IT! (and hoping that I receive one in the mail on Saturday from my big sister!!!)

My Own Little Time Out

Hello!!!
I am addicted to checking out Rate My Space, decorating blogs, craft blogs, craft sites, and online boutiques. Unfortunately the majority of those cost me money to check out once I find something I LOVE and must have.........so I have decided to start my very own blog to spark my creativity and hopefully inspire others to do the same thing.

I am a stay at home mom of two AMAZING kids (kacey is 4 1/2 and collin is 2) and I keep myself busy during "naps" by making all sorts of projects!!! I have been selling baby clothes, blankets, burp clothes, etc. at www.saseaboutique.com since my son was born and have loved EVERY second of it! I LOVE baby items and picturing the cute little munchkins that are going to snuggle up in them! I recently started selling home decor products at my etsy site... http://www.saseaboutique.etsy.com/, so check them out. Since I don't have any little babies around my house, I decided it was time for me to start making things that I could enjoy too.

I am hoping to update this site with all of the random crafts that I play around with, as well as any new items that I am adding to my online Boutiques. Hope you check back!!!

Here are a few of the items that I am currently selling online at www.saseaboutique.etsy.com!!!!
