Lovely Day!

The weather is sooo pretty outside today! I am getting my amazing thrift store outfit (wink wink) ready for our 70's roller skating rink party tonight for one of my BFF's birthday party! SOOO FUN! Will DEFINITELY add pictures tomorrow!!!!

I have been SUPER busy making pillow after pillow after pillow and a daily trip to the post office. I decided to make a new little gem to add to my etsy store just in time for the weekend!

I have no idea how to crop my husband out of this picture, so just cover his face. (it said to post a picture of just me) :) And YES, I have naturally DARK hair, and those are my blue eyed BLOND haired babies. :) I ALWAYS get asked if I am their nanny!!!

I am passing this along to Grace. I am addicted to her site and her burlap, so I might as well pass this along to her. :) LOVE THIS GIRL! So funny, but I basically grew up with her husband, Collin. (no, my son is not named after him, just two cool guys with super cool name!)

Off to get ready for my travel back to 1970 and jam out at the local skate rink!!!

As if I wasn't already on cloud 9 after seeing that I won Lola B's contest! (WAHOO) I came home from running around town to an email with pictures of my kids that Maria from Snidershots took for us! LOVE LOVE LOVE HER! If you are in the Tampa area, she is your girl!

These pictures of Kacey almost made me cry just looking at how big she has gotten! Maria totally captured the real Kacey in these pictures, and I will have them posted allll over my house!!! She is a true girlie girl with the biggest heart!!!!!

Collin is getting soooo big and it blows my mind that my little baby boy can do skateboard tricks and is actually VERY good at sports! He works for hours on his skateboard skills and even knows a few tricks! (yes, I usually make him wear a helmet, but you couldn't see those baby blues with it on) :) Such a little man and yet he is SOOOO sweet and loving!

OH HAPPY DAY!!!!!

I woke up and ran to my computer to see if I had won the contest that Lola B put on for her 200th post! AND I SAW MY NAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ALMOST PASSED OUT!!!! My son came running into the room and asked if I was okay because I was screaming so loud!!! I am sooo excited and SOOOO grateful!!!!!! I have already planned a trip (kidless) to go check out the goods!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU LOLA B!!!!!!

Happy Easter!

We have spent the ENTIRE weekend hopping to different local Easter Egg Hunts! 2 yesterday, 1 this morning in our house, and leaving in a bit for one at my parents house!!!! I have decided that Easter brings in more candy than Halloween these days!!!!

The BIGGEST EASTER BUNNY EVER!!! HA!

Now off to eat the millions of eggs that we painted yesterday. (by the way, Easter has to be the one holiday that actually makes your house stink....but egg salad is worth it!!!!)

Great finds!!!

It annoys me DAILY that my daughter doesn't have a hook up in her bedroom ceiling!!! We live in Florida so most people would be wanting the hook up for a fan.....but not me......I want her to have an amazing chandelier! This one is from trendyvintage and has a "buy now" button for $129!!!!! what?! that seems GREAT to me!!! Maybe one of these days I can convince my husband to get in the attic to put the hook up in!

Okay, that is enough dreaming for me tonight. What I SHOULD be doing is going through the bags of "goodies" that I have stocked up on for the kid's Easter baskets............but this is soooo much more fun!

I am taking a break from my sewing room to do a little virtual shopping! The kids are in bed, my husband is at his softball game, my friend is coming over to do a Bootilicious Buns work out video in an hour (we are getting ready for our 70's themed roller skating rink party in two weeks), and so what better to do with an hour than search blogs and etsy!!!
