Happy Father's Day!!!

Happy Father's day to my AMAZING husband! He is the greatest dad I could EVER ask for for our kids!!! He is so calm, and patient, and loving that it melts my heart just watching him with our kids!!!
We had a GREAT DAY at my parents house just hanging out in the pool (it was A VERY hot Florida day!) and loved EVERY second of it!!!

And Happy Father's day to MY SUPER dad!!!!! He is a GREAT dad and grampy! Watching him with my kids and my niece just makes me so happy!

Under The Weather

I have been fighting a sinus infection for a few days....and last night the flu bug got my daughter, Kacey. Gotta love how you all of a sudden feel a bit better when you need to take care of your babies!

We are enjoying a rainy evening all snuggled up on the couch wishing we were feeling better!!!

Beautiful Doll!!!

This weekend was my 4 (almost 5) year old daughter's second ballet recital! SHE WAS AMAZING!!! Her class danced to "Beautiful Doll" and she didn't miss a beat! I loved EVERY second of her performance and can not believe how fast she is growing up! (can't say that I enjoyed the other 5 hours of performances....but hers made it all worth it!!!)

My BEAUTIFUL DOLL is growing up SOOO fast!!!!

Kacey and her BFF Sydney were sooo cute! Kacey is a perfectionist and prim and proper out on stage....and Sydney was BREAKING IT DOWN! They did GREAT!

My Love For Spray Paint Continues...

I have been having the BEST time reading all of the comments for the BIG GIVEAWAY!!! This is sooo much fun!!!!!!

My Blackberry is crashing on me...so every time I check my blog is like Christmas!!! (actually more like Valentines day with all of those little notes your friends would put in your "mailbox"...but anyways)

I posted a few weeks ago about my AMAZING purchase from Ikea! This was all my sister's idea, and I ran with it!!! Combining my love of BIG fancy frames and my new found love of Spray Paint....I couldn't go wrong!!!!

It all started with this frame from Ikea. (priced under $30)

I removed the glass and sprayed it with "ballet slipper" pink from Michaels.

I couldn't stand waiting any longer, so I just painted (with chalk board paint) the cardboard backing that the frame came with. I will probably add a thicker piece down the road...but I wanted this up on the wall in my "oh so Sa-Sea Sewing/Guest room"!

I am in love with the outcome!!! This is not where it will stay once the room is finished...but it is a good start!!!! Please excuse the writing....not very easy writing with HUGE sidewalk chalk! note to self: Buy normal sized chalk!!!
