Baby Shower Goodies

This weekend a few girls and I threw a baby shower for a friend of ours expecting a baby boy in two months. I had a great time decorating my house for the event.

This is a portion of the "spread". I made that sign of baby Liam's name for his new room.

MMM....Cupcakes!!! My ultimate FAVORITE!

I made these onsies to hang up and than they were later given as a gift to the mom to be. (along with all of the other decorations)

I used glass baby bottles (these bottles have been around for a few showers) and just printed his name out and taped it onto the glass as a label) The "L" was just painted white to match his blue and brown themed room.

I made a few frames for him and they were placed around the house just to dress it up a bit.
We had a great time........and now I am BEAT!!!

Such a GREAT buy!

Check out my new favorite find!!! It is a new store on Etsy and I am LOVING her style!

These chalkcloth tags are sooo cute! I am going to start labeling every basket and chair in my house! Proceeds go to Cora Paige Playground, so how could you go wrong?
I have these exact same baskets and this is exactly how clean my kid's toy room is going to look. :)

How cute is this!? Actually, that paint color is amazing too! I'ld better get the name of it!

New Addition To The Family

My husband has softball on Tuesday nights and this is my night to be creative all by myself...and today I decided that I needed to add a new pillow to the family.

It already has a new home right on my couch....and it could make its way into your home too....www.saseaboutique.etsy.com :) I just can't seem to ever have enough pillows.... are there meetings I should be attending?

A Great Find!!!

I was soo excited to receive my Ballard Designs catalog in the mail. I sit down and just dream, and plan out EVERYTHING that I would do....if that was an option. But I did find something that I AM going to purchase!!!! Even if I have to purchase it as a gift for someones upcoming birthday....I feel the need to just have it delivered to my house!

starts with this little cork light fixture........

choose your bottle!!! LOVE THESE!!!!!
Might actually LOVE these a little more!
And you have yourself the most amazing light I have ever seen!!! I am thinking I might have to invite some of my girls over to finish off a few bottles of wine so that I can decorate my whole house with these. :) check them out! www.ballarddesigns.com

Slight Obsession with Pillows

Yes, it is true! I could spend hours looking in the pillow aisle at Home Goods, I just love pillows and how it can soften the look of any room! I decided that I wanted to dress up my couch a little bit today, and since I have not yet tackled the dreaded task of covering them...I decided to make a pillow. I am loving it!!! Linen, Soft White cotton, and crystals.....HOW COULD YOU GO WRONG!!!!!

Feel free to check them out at.... www.saseaboutique.etsy.com (nudge...nudge)

Not my house, but I had this picture saved (not sure where it was saved from, just loved it). Makes the bench SOO inviting!

I'll take one of each

So I LOVE the celebrity home section of InStyle Magazine! I absolutely LOVE seeing what celebrities are able to do in their homes, and how some of them actually enjoy thrift store shopping even though they can afford anything they would like to furnish their homes. I remember seeing Pamela Anderson's home on cribs a few years ago. She had an all white, Shabby Chic, home that included a claw foot bath tub outside on her patio! (def didn't see her with a house like that, but I was impressed) I have tried to google and find pictures of it, because I remember just wanting everything in her house!

Anyways, Here are a few amazing pictures of celeb homes. Hopefully more to come later....I have to run to a celebration pizza dinner in my husbands dinner for a great week of work!!!

I have a large farm style dining room table like this one, and I just love how she made it look romantic with all those flowers. I might just head to Sams Club this weekend for some roses myself.

Wouldn't you just pass out if you saw a Chanel table like that for sale.... or even one made to look like it!? I wouldn't even care if it wasn't real! I would snatch it up! Maybe I will try to make one!
These chairs are in Izzac Mizrahi's house!!! LOVE THEM!!!!!! Off to cut and paste more pictures before our big dinner!!!
