Clean Freak

So, I am not necessarily a "pick up freak", but I am a "clean freak". I don't have to have everything picked up ALLL day long because I will just be following my kids around picking up their toys and junk everywhere. BUT...I have become a bit of a clean freak. A Germ Freak!

I have a new boyfriend and his name is Clorox Disinfecting Wipes. I love him, and we spend a good part of the day together. I clean EVERYTHING with these flu killing wipes! Here is a list of what I have cleaned today with them.....who knew they were the wonder wipes!!!

-baseboards (they are still building homes in neighborhood so it is ALWAYS dusty)

-kids toilet, our toilet, and guest bath toilet

-every door knob

-computer keypad

-the kids dining room chairs (seriously, how on earth does food end up UNDER THE CHAIR!!!)

-and the light switches.

-trash can lids

-fridge

-stove and dishwasher handles

That sounds a little obsessive, but these wipes just motivate me. :) (and my son is randomly enjoying watching Shrek while Kacey is at school....so I am taking full advantage!)

We are going on a beach vacation in a week and a half, and I want to kill off all the germs that could get in our way of laying on the beach!!!

Custom Pillow Cases

I have added a few new goodies to my etsy shop today!!! I have made a few of these for my daughter and her friends, and received a special order from Grace, and decided that I would just add them to my shop.

I added a few of them the other day, but these pictures are brighter and there are a few new styles.

Feel Free to choose your color letter and choose your pom pom color. (yellow, black, green, red, pink, and white pom pom). Makes a super cute addition to any little girl's room, playroom, or even a monogram in the Master bedroom or couch!

Tuesday Photo Challenge....

I LOVE taking pictures!!! I am not good at it, my camera is not a great camera, I never figure out the lighting right, but I still LOVE it! And I do believe that my daughter, Kacey, LOVES having her picture even more than my love for taking them!

I read about the photo challenge from Lola B, and jumped right in.

Kacey is 4 years old, turning 5 in July. She is my first born, and one of my VERY best friends. (is that weird that my best girlfriend is 4?) She LOVES to pick out her own clothes, and is usually dressed (including matching undies) before I even get out of bed in the morning. She is soooo sweet! SOOO loving, and is truly the nicest girl I have ever met.

I would say she is a bit shy....but when it comes to dancing.....that girl dances like nobody is watching! I think it is great!!!! I am a closet dancer. :)

But above all else...........SHE LOVES TO HAVE HER PICTURE TAKEN! :)

These pictures were taken last Thursday at our Family Fun Night. She was the ONLY person out there dancing to the band...but she looked like a true ROCK STAR and I was soo proud! :)

It was soooo loud at the concert and she ran up to me, told me she was going to do a trick and she wanted me to take her picture. She actually held these poses long enough for me to take the shot............then ran back to me to see how they looked in the camera. ha! love her!!!

Shop Till You Drop!

I had a VERY busy weekend! A VERY FUN weekend!!!! Yesterday we made the trip down to Anthropology. I was soooooo excited alllllllll day, it was like Christmas!!! My kids did end up coming with us, but my WONDERFUL husband entertained them at Pottery Barn kids while I shopped, touched, tried on, and drooled for WELL over an hour! I had a BLAST!!!! I tried on SOOOO many clothes and you all are probably going to laugh at what I picked. I have mentioned SEVERAL of my addictions (shoes, fabric, pillows, purses.....) but have forgotten to mention my love of sweatpants! I love them! I want them VERY soft, VERY light, and VERY beautiful! I have spent MANY birthday, Christmas, and mother's day checks on Juicy sweatpants, and never looked back!

So yes, I admit I did buy a KILLER soft pair of straight leg blue sweatpants that make me VERY happy! Yes, I did spend more than I would have spent on them if I did not have the gift card....and that is part of the reason I haven't taken them off every second I have been in my house this weekend!!!!

-A SUPER cute coral colored flow top!!!! LOVE IT!!! I will have to take a picture with this!

-A linen blue hat that is SOOO cute and girly!

-A mug with a K on it so that nobody tries to take my mug...I ALWAYS lose my mugs to my husband.

-2 of he CUTEST ice cream bowls because my husband and I eat ice cream NIGHTLY and this might just make it taste better!

-A pepper shaker that I have been in search of for over a year! I am not a pepper fan, but my husband puts it on EVERYTHING, so this is perfectly appropriate!

I also ordered a few things from the Internet because my shop was fresh out.

I got a sea glass wine glass (I don't have a set of wine glasses because I always got sad when they broke...so I just collect random wine glasses that I love) AND a BEAUTIFUL black and white vintage style door knob for my sewing/guest room!!!!!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU LOLA B!!!!!! I AM VERYYYYYYYYYYY GRATEFUL!!!!! MY WHOLE FAMILY IS GRATEFUL BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN ON CLOUD NINE FOR WEEKS!!!!

I have a slight purse problem. (along with my pillow problem, shoe problem, jewelry problem....lamp problem...yikes) I love them! I need them! i don't want to see a 16 year old with my same purse at the mall! (I know people say I look 16.....but I am about to celebrate my 2nd annual 29th birthday this year!) BIG weekend!!!

This weekend we are making the drive down to Anthropology to spend my AMAZING gift card that I won from Kasey at Lola B's recent contest! I am beside myself and still in shock that I won in the first place....and a kidless trip to Anthro with a $200 gift card in my hand makes me SOOOOOOOO excited!!!

I have been online daily and I still do not know what I am walking out of there with....but Promise to keep you posted. I even was inspired to order a few things online to use in my upcoming GIVEAWAY! (no, i didn't use my gift card on those!!! )
I also plan on cleaning out my closet and organizing. You aren't forced to do that when the weather is pretty much the same ALLL year long...but I feel the need to do this prior to my big shopping trip tomorrow. Just to get me in the shopping mood!!!
