Carry On.

I wrote about this a few days ago that Tori and Dean just purchased a "keep calm and carry on" poster! I went right out and purchased one as well and I am LOVING it! (I did NOT purchase this ONLY because they did.....I have wanted it, but just never made the jump to get it! I PROMISE :)

I am just deciding how I want to frame it.....and where it is going to go!

I purchased mine from PressureLess. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!! The paper is THICK and the color is AMAZING!!!! Looks like she will be back from vacation soon.....and is having a sale!!!! MARK YOUR PLANNERS NOW!

Halloween Already?!

I am a little bit in shock that EVERYWHERE I go I am already seeing Halloween goodies out! My kids are already discussing what they want to dress up as.....and I found myself starting to plan out a few halloween pillow cases. IT IS STILL SUMMER!!!!!

But I DID see these wonderful mercury glass pumpkins at pottery barn, and was a bit excited for summer to hurry up so that I can take out all of my Halloween decorations. :)

I am not even going to discuss the fact that I saw 2 isles devoted to CHRISTMAS stuff at the craft store the other day!!!!!!!!!!

House Love

I was on vacation last week in Virginia (where my husband and I both grew up) and had a GREAT time! Little did I know that while I was IN Virginia.....one of my FAVORITE blogs who ALSO live in Virginia (not that the BLOG itself lives in VA....but the writers) put a post up about my Paris Hotel Pillow Case!!!!!!

Celeb Style Crush....

I am a reality TV Junkie! I know....so sad! But I LOVE IT! I am reminded by my husband DAILY that I am too old to care sooo much about other people's lives like this....but I am drawn to it!

I have to admit that I LOVE Tori and Dean's show on Oxygen! I just LOVE her style of decorating....her being a mom....and it making me feel like I am NOT BUSY at all because she has her hands in SOOO many things! (also makes me feel like I am broke and that I only dream of decorating with the style that she does)

Anway....I LOVE her house! I could only come across pictures of her old bedroom (yikes...sounds stalkerish) but I LOVE IT! I love how it is so romantic....yet inviting. I painted our walls the same shade a while back and have been dreaming of making my own headboard! I was aiming towards white......but this has me thrown for a loop!

Her furniture is AMAZING!!!!! She painted her new bedroom the same shade with the same furniture....but it has a more RELAXED vibe due to the HUGE pictures she has blown up of her kids. That is what I want to do!!!!

This room is SOOO cute for a little boy! I love it! Actually......if I were still 16....I would want this room! (not so much the crib, but the rest of it would stay)

I LOVE what she did with the frames going up the stairs!!!!! This is why I REFUSE to throw away ANY of my frames. (my husband says I have a slight obsession with frames and that I could never possibly put them all up........but this wall should just about use up all of my collection)

I also read on OK! Magazine that she just recently purchased a "Keep Calm and Carry On" poster and had it framed. (now I am REALLY sounding a bit stalkerish) I have been wanting one for my bathroom....and might just take the splurge. I am going to have to come up with a size that I want....and then hit up etsy to pick one up. (just search "keep calm and carry on" and LOADS of them show up on etsy)

Okay....now off to catch up on my DVR and all of my reality shows that are waiting for me! :)

Pillows for Bella!!!!

I recently was made aware of a super sweet two year old girl, Bella Rose, that was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma and KNEW that I HAD to do something!!!!!! Her sweet little face and HUGE smile just melts my heart!!!!!

I honestly have NO idea what on earth I would do if I was EVER in the situation of her family or her....but I DO know what I NEEDED to do in helping her family! She lives locally here in the Tampa, FL area.....and I know her indirectly thru some friends.

I am putting a NEW super sweet Princess crown in my ETSY Shop and all proceeds will go towards ensuring that Bella is able to receive the advanced care that she needs in order to fight the battle of her life!

I am hoping that others will jump on board and add items to their etsy shops to help in this fight! I am going to list my items with the name BELLA ROSE on the "tag" to make it easy to find!

I am at a loss for words as to what her family must be feeling at this moment....but I DO know how to sew.....and so that is how I will help!!!!!

SHE IS SOOO INSPIRING! BUT TODAY....MADE ME SMILE BIG TIME WHEN I READ HER BLOG. GO CHECK IT OUT AND HOW THIS AMAZING BIKE BECAME HERS!!! LOVE IT!!!!!! Splish Splash

This has been a GREAT weekend!!! We had Kacey's birthday party yesterday at our neighborhood pool and it was PERFECT. She has a really great group of friends in our neighborhood....the pool is BEAUTIFUL.....and the weather couldn't have been better!!!!!!!!




She wanted an Ariel theme...so we ran with it! I think that the adults had just as much fun as the





kids!!!!





SO CUTE!!!! I still can NOT believe that my little girl is FIVE!!!!!!








Kacey requested an "Ariel Wedding cake". When I showed her this cake she was SOOOO excited and gave me a big hug..........but informed me that this isn't a wedding cake because Prince Eric is not on the top of the cake with her. HA! Guess next year I better listen a little better before spending HOURS making and planning the cake!
