I am NOT a fan of cooking dinner. I AM fan of watching cooking shows....and eating dinner cooked by others! It isn't that I don't enjoy the kitchen, or that I couldn't whip something up. It is that I always get stuck in a routine of cooking the same things over and over again.
I do the research and look online for recipes and new ideas....and the second I see an ingredient that I don't generally buy or have at home...I change my mind.
BUT.... this past week I went on a "girls date" with my mom!!!! We went to an amazing place in Tampa...DINNER DONE. It is like someone could read my mind and made a place JUST for me!!!!
I made 4 of the most amazing meals! I prepared it all there.........wrapped it up (seriously one of their "meals" includes 6 large pieces of chicken....so that is 3 meals for my husband and I).......labeled them.......and brought them home to freeze! It is soooo nice to just have to worry about a side item at dinner time! It is like having a TV dinner every night... only I made them....and they are healthy!!
I should mention our FAVE part was that they served wine and cheese with crackers while we cooked AND someone cleans up after you!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am finally the housewife I have always wanted to be. :)

girl every mom needs this..i think its the cleaning up that gets me...my daughter is to keep the kitchen clean now that she is older, and if its not clean to my liking...oh well not din din from mom mom....i just cant do it.
I'm so jealous! I wish we had one of these places! I'm going to have to do some searching around or else just open my own business! haha right...

i have a place like this by my house. i have never tried it. it is owned by 2 graduates of Wheaton College(a very small extremely conservative college). i don't think there will be any wine there. but hey....you have inspired me...i'm going to give it a try. thanks for the reminder.
What a fabulous concept...I love it! I like to cook, but the idea of preparing several meals at once in someone else's kitchen with wine and crackers is very appealling! Will have to see if there is one of these close to me.
This is a good reminder that I should checkout our place here in town. It is good to always have food in the freezer for the many nights I have not thought of anything.
