SANTA'S WORKSHOP IS IN FULL SWING!

Santa's workshop is in FULL swing!!! I have been adding goodies to my shop as I make them for Christmas gifts. I have a few new goodies that I am SUPER excited about!!

I absolutely love the pink with ruffles! I made them for Kacey to put on her bed the day after Christmas! I am so excited! Collin is getting the green Santa with white!

I personally believe that ruffles make anything look cozy!

The gold with tea stained fabric is also one of my favorites! Man, I guess these little guys are going to be ALL over my home!

I had an order for a silver Santa on a white pillow case, and mailed it out prior to taking a picture. BEAUTIFUL!!!

I HAVE ALSO DECIDED THAT MY CHRISTMAS SHIPPING DEADLINE WILL BE DECEMBER 14TH!

ICE SKATING IN FLORIDA!!!!

I AM ON CLOUD 9 RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!

I JUST READ IN THE PAPER (RANDOM THAT I EVEN PICKED UP THE PAPER....I AM NOT EXACTLY A CURRENT EVENTS GIRL) THAT THERE IS AN OUTDOOR ICE SKATING RINK RIGHT HERE AT OUR OUTDOOR MALL!!!!!!!!!!

THIS IS SOO EXCITING FOR ME!

I GREW UP IN VIRGINIA AND WE USED TO GO ICE SKATING OFTEN IN THE WINTER AT THE OUTDOOR MALL...AND WHEN WE VISITED MY UNCLE'S HOUSE IN MAINE HE ACTUALLY HAD ONE SET UP IN HIS FRONT YARD!!!

I THOUGHT THIS WAS AN EVENT THAT MY KIDS WOULD MISS OUT ON LIVING IN FLORIDA.....BUT NOT ANYMORE!!!!!

WE ARE HEADED OUT RIGHT NOW TO GO SEE IF I CAN BUY THEM ICE SKATES!!! FIGURED I WILL BE THERE DAILY SO I WOULD SAVE MONEY ON BUYING THEM!!

What do you Collect?

I LOVE shopping for someone that has a collection already started. You know they will LOVE the item...and it doesn't matter if they already have 50 of them.

I wish I had a collection of something, other than a million decorating and gossip magazines!

My dad collects unique Santa's. He gets 1 a year, and I like it when I find the first Santa and can tell my mom that she doesn't need to get him one. I found the PERFECT choice yesterday as I was searching thru my blog list!!!!

Check these babies out!!!!!!!!! They are available at The Pink Pig and I think that I just might start a little Santa collection of my own after seeing these guys! They are hand carved, and I love their faces!!!!

I am DEFINITELY getting a pink and green one for my kid's!

I BELIEVE!!!

I remember sitting on the stairs in my childhood home...when my cousin told me that Santa was not real!!!! I almost passed out and went flying down the stairs!

I then went to my parents and told them what I had "learned". My mom had a shocked look on her face and said, "well, I remember when someone once told me that! I believe that if as long as you believe in Santa....HE WILL COME!"

Guess what...Santa has left a stocking and goodies for me EVERY SINGLE YEAR of my life....so I guess I BELIEVE!!!

I made these pillow cases a few weeks ago....and am Just getting around to adding them to my shop!

Santa looks SOOO happy, SOOO sweet, and I just want to squeeze him and tell him t hanks so much for all the wonderful goodies!!!!!

My Little Man

Tomorrow my little man is turning THREE!!!! Sometimes I am in shock that I am a mom....let alone a mom of a 5 year old and a 3 year old! Just thinking of this makes me feel a lump in my throat!

Three years ago, on November 6th, I gave birth to a HANDSOME, LOVING, STRONG, KIND, FRIENDLY, VERY FUNNY, SPORTS LOVING LITTLE MAN!

I never had a brother, never had little cousins that lived near me, was one of the youngest kids on my court growing up.........so this little guy was the first little baby boy to take my breath away and melt my heart!!!

I spend EVERY day with him! While Chad is at work and Kacey is at school....it is just the two of us! We go on dates to the park for a picnic lunch and soccer match, snuggle up to watch movies, color, play baseball for hours at a time, set up train tracks that run thru the whole living room, and we run EVERY errand around town.........all with my little man!

This was the day that we went to the hospital. (went into hospital on the 5th....little booger stayed put till late afternoon on the 6th)

My handsome little guy just min. old!

His arrival made Kacey a big sister! She has been sooo loving and soooo proud of her little brother from the min. they met!

One of our first family pictures....this makes me laugh because Kacey looks like she is eating him!

New Sweet Pillow Cases

I had a request from my 5 year old to make her some fancy pillow cases for her room. She wants to change hers out on her bed....because I am CONSTANTLY changing out pillow cases on my couches. (They go in the was weekly...and I hate having them bare so I just rotate)

Here is what we came up with. I hope you enjoy!!!!

I can picture these two in any girl's room! Small or big! They are the right mix of soft and fancy!

This spa blue and pink royal crown mix looks SOO sweet on white bedding!!!!

I am off to the gym with my little man. Sometimes it stinks that he loves going to the gym kids room sooo much because I really just want to sit at home in my pj's this morning...but he has asked me about 50 times if we are going to "his gym school". Darn Kid!! :)

Getting Closer to a Commitment

I have a VERY long wall behind my couch and I have 10 ft ceilings...so I feel like no matter what I put on there it gets lost! I have painted and patched SOOO many holes on the wall from trying things out!

The wall is actually BLANK right now. (I have actually been grounded from TESTING on the wall... I need to do my research before I am supposed to pick up a hammer)

The recent family pictures that we got taken is what I WANT to put behind the wall....but I feel like it just NEEDS something else. I am leaning towards this AMAZING picture! I LOVE IT!!!!!!
The ONLY thing missing in this picture is a few Sa-Sea Boutique pillows...and I could seriously get cozy on that couch!!!!!
