Should I or Shouldn't I?

I am AWFUL at bargaining! I generally just pay what people ask, and feel okay about it. I also have a bad habit of finding bad finds on craigslist that my husband says "just because it's a good deal, doesn't mean it is worth it!" ha!

So I am asking.......does this chair look like a good "first timer" redo? I LOVE it! I am thinking a fresh coat of white paint....and a nice robins egg blue and white fabric that I have and LOVE. They said that they purchased it last year for $100 and to make an offer. HELP!!! :)

The more I look at these pictures, the more I am in love with it! Which means that I would go there with $100 in hand. I need your encouragement to make an offer....or walk away. :) Maybe I should have my husband handle the haggle. :)

I'm a terrible haggler..either I'll pay or I won't. The chair has potential!

Definitely go for $75. I really love that chair too and think it'd be a great "first timer" chair!!

I'm awful at bargaining too, just somehow feel uncomfortable doing it, ha. But I think you should really shoot for $75 taking into account the fact it's been used, and yet it still looks good. Plus, with the additional painting and overall labor, I think the price would work.

It's a great find, though! I'm sure you'll get it!

I'd say bargain for sure ! I've sold so much furniture, I always settle with the offer/ If you say 70, they might take it or 75.
But I'd pay 75.
Good deal.
adorable chair.

Oh it's cute!
I'd personally offer $50. Just because they paid $100 doesn't mean you have to pay what they did almost a year ago! :)
Figure out what you'd be willing to pay for it, offer less to find out what they're willing to let it go for, and renegotiate if they want more than your original bid.
Woah, how's that for an essay!

hey girl..i like the chairs..i would start low..and they can either say yes or no...and you go from there, but at least try...and then you could call their bluff and always go back...they want to get rid of them for money so they are open...

Katie, you are so cute! I say bargain as well and I am with Allegra, if they want to sell it they will tell you how much they want for it...and if you are too shy have your hubby do it! I can't wait to see what you do with it, your ideas sounds fab!

I agree, i don't think i would pay full price at ALL because chances are, if they see the money in your hand they'll work with you. offer $50 at first and see what happens, if they say $75 dig around in your purse and 'try' to look for the money, don't let them see how much cash you have in hand or they wont settle for anything less than $100 Good luck!!

I'd offer $60 cash with immediate pick up. $75 being your final offer.
