My Blackberry is crashing on me...so every time I check my blog is like Christmas!!! (actually more like Valentines day with all of those little notes your friends would put in your "mailbox"...but anyways)
I posted a few weeks ago about my AMAZING purchase from Ikea! This was all my sister's idea, and I ran with it!!! Combining my love of BIG fancy frames and my new found love of Spray Paint....I couldn't go wrong!!!!
I couldn't stand waiting any longer, so I just painted (with chalk board paint) the cardboard backing that the frame came with. I will probably add a thicker piece down the road...but I wanted this up on the wall in my "oh so Sa-Sea Sewing/Guest room"!
I am in love with the outcome!!! This is not where it will stay once the room is finished...but it is a good start!!!! Please excuse the writing....not very easy writing with HUGE sidewalk chalk! note to self: Buy normal sized chalk!!!
Don't forget to add yourself to My 100th Post Giveaway....Everybody is doing it :)!!!!

Oh! That's beautiful and very creative! It was black then ta-daah! It's PINK! :D I love it muchies! Haha.. :)
Oh how I just love your pillows. The finished chalkboard looks so pretty.
I think that looks great. Ikea did great when they made that frame..so many options.
these look great! i'm actually looking to do some chalkboard paint diy fun and spray paint is my best friend.
Wow!! What a transformation~
I am so glad you discovered the wonder that is spray paint!! Makes a lot of projects faster which means you can makeover WAY more cute things.
I did this to the same frame last year. I hung one over each of the sinks in my daughter's bathroom.
So fun!
Oh I LOVE IT!! I need that frame so bad! It's a 2 hour trip for me to Ikea so I always get a list together and that is now on the list!!! And isn't chalkboard paint the best!!
I recently have a love for spray paint... i have been redoing a few rooms in my house, and spray paint has become one of my major tools!
Love the chalk board, nicely done..
Love love the pillows though..:)
I love that idea! I recently picked up an old picture frame at Goodwill. I painted the frame and had my husband cut a piece of MDF to fit, then painted it with chalkboard paint for a kitchen menu/note board. But your idea is even better! I think a visit to Ikea is in order. :-) Now if only I could sneak in some pink somewhere in my house...
it definetly looks stunning in pink- you're creativity really sparkles through! and very thrifty =] hehe. hope you have a spectacular week!
